The research was done on China's four major terrestrial ecosystems－forest, grassland, shrub land and farmland－and samples were collected throughout China over a five-year period, said Fang Jingyun, academic director of the Institute of Botany at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, who was the leading scientist behind the project.
The decision from the meeting says talent evaluation and skills assessment mechanisms will be refined, with professional capabilities as the criteria. Income distribution methods for technical workers will be formulated with a focus on their skills and achievements in innovation to encourage skills-based wealth creation and income increases. An investment process contributed by the government, businesses and society will be established to provide more financial support for professional skills training.
"China will never seek hegemony or engage in expansion," he said. "Only those who are accustomed to threatening others see everyone as a threat."
The company is also alleged to have discharged industrial wastewater into the Fenhe River, a major tributary of the Yellow River.
