Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remark at the closing meeting of the first session of the 13th National People's Congress in Beijing.
Cameroonian President Paul Biya voiced his hope for Xi's every success in fulfilling the noble mission, and said he would like to work with Xi in strengthening the unique friendship and cooperation between Cameroon and China.
"President Xi's re-election is also a positive sign of China's continued prosperity, going into a new era that will be great for the world both in terms of stability and economic development," he said.
The progress is showing. Last year, 68 conferences－each with more than 500 participants－were held in the town, more than doubling the previous year.

Comparing the two visits, Xi said Hainan has experienced dramatic change. "I felt gratified seeing the new changes in Hainan," he said.
